Sounds like you had an adventurous bus ride. I ride the bus to and from work all the time--sometimes it's quiet and other times it's loud and rambunctious, just never know.

I like sitting our our front porch too. Retirement makes me think that we better save all we can NOW; can't imagine how people afford to live when they retire and we even have 401ks, and other investments too! Can't really count on Social Security and since the little we are supposed to get is taxed, it won't be much to live on.

Mornings are my favorite time of the day--I'm energized and very productive then. Problem is the time goes so fast because I want to do so much before I leave for work, including Bible reading/prayer, exercising, reading blogs and perhaps posting something, Facebook and walking with my husband and dog,

Parties are stressful not knowing how many will show up--people aren't good at RSVPing. One of the funnies episodes of the Mary Tyler Moore Show was about her dinner parties--it was hilarious!

Year-round schooling would be terrible--both for the kids and the teachers who definitely need a nice break! Even then, some don't like to see school starting up again! Makes sense to share the blog.
