The Stubborn Servant : There's Nothing Like...

I've been thinking about this all day and waiting until I had time to add mine in! :) There's nothing like.. -Hearing your favorite song on the radio. -Looking through pictures from back in the day with friends and reminiscing about those times. -Going to bed without having to set your alarm. My recent post Book Review- “The Shelter of God’s Promises”

The Stubborn Servant : One Word: Hinderances

I chose my word "fountain" because I was tired of letting my circumstances drain the joy and life out of me. But it's going to take constant, conscious effort to change my attitude and habits in order to bring about a fountain while living in the same circumstances. It's not going to magically happen overnight (although that would be nice! :) ) P.S. Thanks for sharing, Olivia, and for your honesty! There's some good stuff to be found there! :) My recent post Book Review- “The Pirate Queen”

The Stubborn Servant : 12 Questions for Radio Host/Author Anita Lustrea

No one told me that womanhood can contain a lot of the same problems you have to deal with as a kid and thought you could outgrow....the drama and always feeling like you're caught in the middle and have to be a bridge in relationships of those around you. Please tell me it's not just me! :) My recent post Scrapbooking- Hobby Lobby- and the Ultimate Creator

The Stubborn Servant : Vlog: 3 things about your twenties....

I think the hardest part about this time in my life is that I feel like I've forever been in an "in between" stage. I know I'm not where I want to be or am going to end up, but I don't know exactly where I'm going or how to get there. So there's a lot feelings of anxiousness and it's hard to be content and truly happy no matter how good things are. It has a lot to do with the transistion and search for identity that you talked about in the video. Thanks for sharing! :) My recent post Make Me a Fountain

The Stubborn Servant : Joy: 5 Normal: 0

Now that I stop and think about it, I did pretty well for my first day! My word: Fountain. And my day has included two things that are on my list of ways to make my life a fountain. -Spend more time with positive, encouraging people: I had lunch with 2 really good friends. -Take better care of myself: I came right home after work and am enjoying a relaxing evening at home for once! :) P.S. I love your story about playing on the Dance Machine! That's awesome! :) My recent post Make Me a Fountain

I think I've decided that my word for the year needs to be "fountain." There's been a lot of things in the last couple years that have drained me, so I think it's time to move on and really seek God and pour my time and energy into the things I was made to do and things that are going to make me burst with the abundant life that Jesus promised. :) My recent post Your faith has…
