Don't count out "Act Of Valor". There are plenty out there like me who have not had time to see this yet and are eager to do so. Word of mouth is great on this one. I would not be surprised if it was the #2 movie this week. Lorax will be #1 this week just because it's a kid movie and the media have been trying to play down the preachy message. Once word of mouth gets out on that one, it will tank quickly.

I'm all for the sentiment, but the production and performance of that particular song played in the video is really lacking. So much so that while I like the sentiment, I wouldn't be able to listen to the song very long before shutting it off. We should strive for the quality to be at least as good as the songs from the other side.I don't mean any harm, just constructive criticism.

I spent 5 years, two trips to the Better Business Bureau, and countless hours on the phone with Charter. They even tried to tell me one time that the electrical ground wire to my house was emitting a charge and was killing my modems. My wife's step-father used to be an electrician, we had him check it out and he flat out said they were lying. The only option where I live is either Charter or DSL. We moved to DSL. I just gave up the netflix streaming and decided that was better than losing my sanity with Charter.

The question I would like to ask the director, and the question I would've expected to be asked by Big Hollywood but wasn't: If he wants to reach out to Christians, many of whom are conservative, why is this movie filled with cameos from well known liberals thereby making our "hero" Damon an unspoken liberal in the film as well?

I saw this in another review which caused me concern: "a moderate Muslim prince wants to improve things and do something about world hunger". How big a factor is this in the film? Is this just another Politically Correct "all muslims are peaceful" plot point interjected into the film for no other reason than to "propagandize" us? I'm holding off for now even though I really want this to be good.

Hadn't thought of it like that, maybe it will keep some of the libs from migrating south. Problem is, they flee their high tax, high cost of living self made hells and flee to the south because of it's low tax, and low cost of living attributes, then when they get down here the try to make the south more LIKE where they came from! "..why don't we have a community center for the kids?..." etc etc.

Being someone born and raised here in the heart of the south, whatever the comic book was about, I can agree with the Kurt's assessment of the stereotypes. Those who aren't bothered by those stereotypes are probably not from the south. But over the years, Hollywood has wrongly depicted southerners, Christians, and conservatives in general because they avoid associating with those groups. They put what they "think" those groups would say in the scripts and since the liberal writers have disdain for those groups they make them sound as bad as possible. I'm a conservative, live in the south, and have friends who cover a wide range of beliefs, but the funny thing is when it comes to my liberal friends (even one admitted socialist/communist), I'm the ONLY conservative friend they have. The Hollywood bubble is about to burst big time. But I'm sure their "guy" in the white house will offer them a bailout when they finally, miserably, fail. Oh, and in the more than 40 years I've had on this earth in the south, I have never myself witnessed any racially motivated violence at school, the workplace, or in social circles.

As I was watching a TV airing of "Back To The Future" I couldn't believe my ears. In the part where Marty is writing a letter to the Doc to warn him about him being shot by terrorists in the future, they edit out the word "terrorist" and also digitally remove the word "terrorist" from the shot of the handwriting on the letter! Are we that afraid to offend terrorists that it's now come to this? I looked it up and apparently the Libyan terrorists' faces are not show in the beginning chase scene either! (although I cannot confirm that as I didn't catch the beginning this evening) This is just incredible. The left in Hollywood never ceases to amaze me, but almost always manages to disgust me.

A simple google search shows Henry is a democrat, yet the article calls him "non-partisan"? He's running for re-election so he's definitely partisan no matter what his affiliation! Yet it's really telling that the democrats are being protected by this article completely omitting that he is a democrat and even trying to pain him as non partisan.
