Have you decided, yet?? If not, I say brown. I was totally saying gray right up until the 4th from the bottom picture when you zoomed out a bit. At least in the photos, the more goldeny tone seems to go better with your cabinets, the rest of your home's style, and I love the way it looks with your backsplash. It makes the more beige-gold tiles behind the stove really pop (in a good way).

You. Are. Incredible.

That is all.

(I'm loving the way those built-in bookshelves look in the kitchen, too!)

Not really my style either color-wise, but the cabinets are certainly gorgeous!! You can tell they're great quality just by the nice way the doors come together. I love the molding around the ceiling and ESPECIALLY all of the base drawers!

(P.S. So glad you've been back to visit my site. I've missed your friendly comments! :) In case you missed it, you definitely should check out Justin's homecoming video of the dogs greeting him: http://www.domestiphobia.net/2012/10/18/missed-do...

My little sister and I sprang for a lobster lunch (shared) at the infamous Gladstone's back in 2003. After making the waiter spend 10 minutes showing us how to eat it and then spending another 20 minutes digging around to avoid the disgustingly green liver (I think?) we decided that lobster is overrated. MUCH better to stick to crab legs. (In my non-expert culinary opinion, crab meat tastes far superior anyway. A lobster tail, if done right, can be delicious, but crab is always phenomenal.)

P.S. Go get a nice dinner. I realized my mother is the same way -- she and Ed never go enjoy themselves because they're always so concerned about money. Finally, Justin and I bought them a $150 gift card to a fabulous restaurant in downtown Denver. I had to specifically tell her to spend it all IN ONE SITTING, otherwise they would've split their meal, skipped dessert, and drank water just so they could use the card again and again. But sometimes -- sometimes -- you just need to be opulent. You work disgustingly hard. You deserve it. ;)

So much fun!! My husband's and my first apartment had a bed frame, a mattress, a television, a used sofa someone gave us, and a moving trunk as a coffee table. That's IT. Their place is so adorable!!
