Wow! I'm impressed. You're doing great considering your little monkeys. I have three, so I understand! I love that you read to them for some of it. Happy reading! And enjoy Olive Garden (I love their salad and breadsticks).

Loved this one, and yes, it's really hard to tell anything about it without ruining it. It was worth it though. I don't remember the all-caps bit, but I can see why that would bug you.

I haven't read any Dickens this year and that's a shame, so I'm in. I have a copy on my kindle, and I'm planning on getting the audio from audible. Thanks for hosting. It's so much more fun reading these long ones with a group.

If I were to win, I would love a copy of The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian. I've heard great things about it. Thanks for offering the giveaway.

Haha! Amazingly hilarious post. I am of mixed feelings about this book. I too cared about no one. I felt the creepiness building the first half, but then it kind of fizzled out for me. I'm glad I read it, but I didn't get the RIP scare I was hoping for.

Love the Arrested Development GIF. I miss that show. :(

So funny. I haven't found it too scary for some reason and I usually don't do scary either. Granted, I haven't read it at night, so there's that. I also was so annoyed that no one would believe Betty. Poor Betty.

That last gif...I die! So funny. I have the audio of The Sun Also Rises on my shelf. I know I read it in high school, but I don't remember a single thing about it. We'll see how it goes the second time around. Nice to see you aren't completely hating it.

Cheers to you as co-host and for a hilarious post. Gaskell was a windbag. The whole middle part was a dragging. It was tough for me to want to pick it up. I like Iris' take on Mags. I came around to Mags in the end, but she was a tough character to like in the first half or so.

I really hated how Margaret treated Henry Lennox's proposal. She was so incredibly rude. It made me dislike her pretty instantly and she isn't back in my favor yet. Like Trish, I'm looking forward to her being brought down a peg or two (hopefully by Mr. Thornton).
