I've not read any of those books, but I know I will get around to Poison Study eventually.

I started out with "My Swordhand is Singing" which was a good horror story and overall not a bad start to the year. I ended the year with "The Rose Garden" which started out like a literary story of overcoming grief and turned into a time travel romance. It could have been better, but I still gave it an average rating.

The library (and now Netflix) has saved me so much money from buying films that I did not like.

I posted my loot here.

I'm in the middle of book four in A Song of Ice and Fire, but I find it excruciating. A Game of Thrones is definitely my favorite (and the best I think) of the first four books in the series.

I'm in! I've been wanting to read Les Mis for awhile now. I have the book on my e-Reader so it'll be something I can easily take with me. I like reading with others so it should be ample incentive to finally pick up this massive tome.

I would rather be rereading books more often. I feel like I neglect books I label as "favorites" by not reading them more often. Then I start to forget things so very badly...

I ended up really enjoying Moby Dick, which is something that I didn't think would happen.

I'm trying to finish some series too. So far my plans are for book 4 in A Song of Ice and Fire and the other books in the Bridei Chronicles. I have a couple of stand alones in my stack in case my series are finished, or they don't work out.

Good luck to you in your read-a-thon titles!

I'm only familiar with Mercy Thompson and Cercei from that list... ^^;; Which probably explains why the females coming to mind while reading this are video game characters!

There are some narrators whom I wish would do more audiobooks. A book could be the most boring of stories and yet I cannot stop listening to the sound of that voice!

It's great to listen to audiobooks on my drives to work. Sometimes I felt guilty rereading a book when I have so many in my TBR pile to go through, but I got some audiobooks and discovered that I want to hear more narration delivered by Christopher Lee.
