I have read The Omnivore's Dilemma and was stunned by the revelation it gave. I mean, I knew that much of our food was unhealthy, but I didn't realize to what extent until I had read Pollan's detailed account. I also use as a guidebook Pollan's Food Rules (e.g. the rule about shopping along the walls of the grocery store instead of the middle, because the middle is where the processed foods lie and along the wall most of the fresh ones). Thanks for the review. I think this would be indispensable to my library as well.
