Lol seriously, the first time I read the title I thought of Tiger & Bunny. This story sounds a lot like Infernal Affairs or if you prefer the Hollyood remake The Departed.

That Hisoka gif is going to give me nightmares for a while. Seriously, HxH stands for everything that is good in shounen I hope people will give it a chance and at least wait how the Hunter Exam unfolds.

I have to agree with this post, that final episode didn't do the series justice but I just don't think a bad ending discredits everything else. No.6 was an enjoyable series and I'll miss it.

I'm very excited for the new HxH anime because from the looks of how the recent arc ended...the next arc could be the final arc for HxH. Which means that the anime can definitely give us a solid ending. They should give us HxH back just to remind us what good shounen actually is.

Oh no...Shouma. :( I really like him. I was afraid what would happen when this part will come up in the anime and now it's happened and we have to wait a week....or even two weeks to find out what happened to him.

I haven't been watching Mawaru Penguindrum because I spoiled myself of the novels and it's so hard to keep up for FOUR 2 cour shows. So I'm waiting for some of my 2 cour shows to end from spring and then catch up.

You know, from the looks of it Shouma just lacks sexual desire. I mean, the way he pushes away Ringo and stuff. The way he doesn't like the thought that his brother's a playboy and how he's never be Survival Strategy'd. (Did he get Survival Strategy'd here?) At his age, you'd expect a different reaction. It'd be interesting if he WERE asexual. I don't think we've ever seen an asexual anime character before. That doesn't mean he can't be attracted to anyone though...hmm.....

I love the Lily Hoshino artwork at the end here though, I wish the could've adapted her artwork a little better, he original designs would've added more to the whimsical nature of this show.

Looking at Kenji Nakamura's (Director) work and Takagi Noboru's (Script) work I find it hard to believe this is going to bad. I mean, just look at that list. But then I could be wrong because there's a first time for everything. I'm really enjoying the show for what it is and sure I was a bit let down by the poor animation by the scenes but apparently the studio was hit by the May 11 earthquake and had to make do with whatever they had.

That said, I'm not going to pretend this isn't a flawed show. I have no idea why Kimimaro decided to go against Kou or why he has such poor understanding of Economics. But hey, I was an Information Technology major but I can't fix yer computers, don't ask. Hopefully they explain this in the next episode because I'm not happy with just Kimimaro 'not getting it'. But I don't think it's as poor as you're making it out to be. There seems to be a lot going on behind the scenes that hasn't been talked about.

The thing is, C is probably something else under the guise of shounen and I'll probably get it once the show it over or something. It's definitely shaping up to be a love it or hate it kind of show I guess.
