I agree with all of those negative triggers. UGH. Do not want.

I think a negative book trigger for me is an overly negative, whiny main character. Even if the character's life has been awful, that doesn't mean I want to spend 3/4 of the book listening to the character whine about their circumstances instead of going out there and doing something about it. A lack of initiative to change one's situation just aggravates me.

A reverse haul is a good idea. I did that recently when I was trying to rearrange my bookshelf. Got rid of the books I knew I just wasn't going to read. :D Yay for purging the stacks to make room for the ones we want to read/keep!

Love your instagram, Jeann! You have the best pictures. ;)

Oh man. That is so disappointing. When I heard of it, I was totes excited for all the possible dragon lore and awesome (as I'm sure we all had been). But I have no need for yet another pararom book with all the tropes, especially the insta-love aspect. ): I WANT DRAGONSSSSS.

Ahhh, I need to read Cruel Beauty. It sits on a shelf at work and I'm tempted to buy it EVERY TIME I'M IN THE STORE. Which isn't good because I still have soooo much to read. Wow. But your list. <3

Hmmmm. I don't know if I'll be able to pick this one up. I enjoyed Matched well enough, but overall that trilogy didn't cut it for me. :| I'm not sure I'm really ready to jump into another series by the same author that would end up falling short of the mark. (And I think I used that analogy properly. LOL. I like analogies, but I always butcher them to suit my purposes.)

Haven't read this or watched the movie yet. But after your review I think I'm definitely more inclined to read the book first. I think the movie would be fun to watch, especially if I think of it as only being loosely based on the book. However, I like that the book is more clever about figuring it all out. Good review, Jeann! :)

Love love love these. You make me want to revisit the books I have read, and add all the others to my TBR.
