I have been told I can be funny. The trouble is, my humour consists of sarcastic and snarky comments on facebook posts. Keeping that up for a whole blog post is fucking HARD. I like your writing. You should write more. Only make it really funny. And more dead things.
So if a work is stolen the "consumer" i.e. the thief has made the work valueless. I believe the point is more that the creator puts a price on their work, and the consumer validates that price by paying it, even if the currency paid is in "likes" and "shares" for a Facebook or Blogger page. If you take the image and link it to your own site, then the consequence is similar to a bootleg copy of a TV show. The advertising, service fee, or whatever is forfeit if that work is circulated widely without payment to the original source.
I don't know if you are already in treatment for depression, but that is one of my levels for mood when my depression is starting to deepen. Hope you can ride it out. ((hugs))

Welcome to the family! Your son sounds so much like my own. Walked at 14 months. At 2 to 3 he would say a phrase once, identify an item, whatever, then we would never hear it again. He did the running and hooting/squealing thing then, and still does. We spent the next year with evaluations, referrals, examinations, reports, more referrals, more evaluations, more paper, and a special needs preschool that accepted him on the basis of his speech delay. After a year in paperwork limbo, we recieved a diagnosis of autism. He is five now, and is much improved in speech. He still is affectionate, playful and bright. My blog is pretty random in tone and topic too. I look forward to reading yours.
You must write this book. And illustrate it. I will pay real money for this.
