Our guild has been doing this as well. Running these raids as a guild is not only fun, but also contributes significantly to guild leveling. We've reached 21 by running old raids and trying to get all Cata dungeon runs done with full guild groups.

I have an alt in a much larger guild that has only gotten to 18 because guild groups don't happen as much.
