Commentary Magazine : Obama and His "Lofty Speeches"

The speech was "great" because it was an excuse to avoid the actual issue - What, sir, were you doing attending a church for 20 years that was led by an openly racist and America-hating minister? One that you were so close to that he was the inspiration for your books. How does that make you a suitable candidate for president? The media was so happy for a chance to change the subject that anything he said would have garnered their rapt attention and unqualified praise. As long as it fulfilled the "Squirrel!" function (hey, look over there!) then it satisfied their requirements at that moment.

SayAnythingBlog.com : Oh My: MSNBC Hosts Basically Call Keith Olbermann A Left-Wing Extremist

There is no complement to Rush on the left, so perhaps that's why she was having difficulty. Name one lefty commentator who has been on the air for 20 years, has a hugely loyal audience, is witty and creative, perceptive and affable at all times. Especially that last one. The ones on the left are mostly screeching a**holes. (See what I did there with the asterisks?) Name anything that Rush does that is as openly obnoxious as Keith Olbermann's "The Worst Person in the World" and name one incidence where Rush has ever gone on a tirade of schoolyard insults as Olbermann did against Scott Brown ("In Scott Brown we have an irresponsible, homophobic, racist, reactionary, ex-nude model, teabagging supporter of violence against woman and against politicians with whom he disagrees.")

Big Government : Call to Arms: Join Me in DC Saturday to Stop ObamaCare

I have a logistics question. If someone wanted to drive in from out of town for the day, what is the best way to do that? Where could I park reliably? How would I get in town to the right places? I am assuming that parking in town would be very difficult. Is there the equivalent of a park and ride in Virginia (I'm coming from North Carolina) that would serve the purpose? I've only been to Washington, D.C. once and stayed with a friend in Takoma Park, MD and rode the train into town. I'd hate to get their and waste a lot of time working out logistics and miss things because I didn't know what I was doing.
