I've never had a problem with Nellie being all "I'M HUNGRY NOW" right before bed. Nellie picks at her food. Her diet? Is HORRIBLE. I can count on a hand and a half how many foods she'll eat. At this point, I am just glad if she eats something. And she grazes. Nibble, wander around, come back, nibble, etc. We've recently started enforcing a "dinner at the table" rule; so we will all sit down to eat. If she wants to get down, fine. Her plate stays at the table, and she's welcome to come back to it as long as she's eating at the table. I've been trying not to cater to her and serve her what I cook - but I will make sure I put at least one or two things I KNOW she will eat (fruit snacks, strawberries, etc) on her plate so she's sure not to go hungry.

It's difficult. One of those things no one ever tells you how to do: how the eff do I feed these kids if they don't want to eat?!

K, so I hate Charlie Sheen. I hate Two and a Half Men with a loathing that is as hot and fiery as a thousand suns. However, I enjoyed hearing the phrase "drunken naked rampage" on the Today Show this morning to describe his latest debacle. I really think we should use the term more often.

Also, that Cinnamon Toast Crunch commercial made me want to drop kick a bunny rabbit into a chainsaw.

Happy Birthday to your hubby! Think you could have him have a heart to heart with my hubby about that whole blogging thing? I mean, mine doesn't mind when I blog but when I'm busy trying to get my social network on he gets all sigh-y and eye-rolly.

My kid doesn't go to daycare yet, so I have no words of wisdom. You have my sympathies, though. I would rather have a head/chest cold ANY DAY OF THE EFFING WEEK rather than the stomach flu. Or food poisoning. Food poisoning IS THE DEVIL.

I always turn into a huge baby when I'm sick. I want someone to take care of me and feel sorry for me and rub my feet and feed me soup. I can't really count on my own mother, because most likely if I asked her over she'd ask me if my baby liked to eat egg salad, or if my brother in law's Boxer dogs liked to ride skateboards.

Those are both things she's asked in the past.

Um, during my maternity leave I cried, stayed up too late Tweeting, blogged, and cried more. I was useless. I didn't even keep up with housework/laundry/dishes. I may have had a teeeensy bit of PPD. Or, I'm just a lazy asshole who cries a lot. *shrug*
