I totally agree with you. I hate when any book spreads misinformation, especially a YA or NA book. That's terrible. Also, I kinda think the concept is stupid so I wouldn't pick it up anyways. Thanks for sharing your honest opinion on this one!
Oh dear! I haven't read any on your list. I have some on my TBR, like Name of the Wind, Allegedly, and Bad Romance. Luckily, none of your worst books are on my list. I could see why you might have wanted to read some of them. So much cover love!

I am hoping to get some backlist books read as well. I am also trying for some new releases. I can't wait for a lot of the books on your list. Now I Rise and Iron Gold are both close to the top of my 2017 wishlist. Great choices for backlist books. I am sure you will love all those Stephen King reads.
I do quit books when I can't get into them. I have three right now that I stopped reading due to lost interest. It is harder when you are suppose to review those books. I just can't see forcing myself to read something I am not enjoying, This is a hobby after all, so why force something. I have no guilt whatsoever!
We do angry shopping once a week at Walmart, lol. My Miguel likes to bitch about all the dickheads we encounter starting with parking lot etiquette, which no one here in Connecticut has. It got so bad we started going to a store about 5 miles further from us just because it is in a better neighborhood and so less people go there. I can totally relate to your plight!
I have only read 2 books this year. I say 6 is a great start, so don't beat yourself up too much. I hope you enjoy all your new reads. Don't feel bad about breaking your budget. I fully plan to buy whatever I want to own for my bookshelf once I start getting paid again. I might even buy a new bookshelf to put them on.
I haven't read any of Elise Kova’s books. Don't shoot me! I might even have this book just sitting on my kindle. That makes it even worse huh? I know people are raving over these books. You have pretty much convinced me to start reading it, ya know, when I get a chance. (maybe next month) Great review!
So many good books on this list! I only have like one of them. I am kinda waiting for reviews to come out before I buy these. I am really curious about Carve the Mark. I read books 1&2 in the Divergent series and really enjoyed them, but I got scared to read book 3 due to so many bad reviews. I actually own Truthwitch and just didn't read it yet. I can't believe the sequel is coming out already!
