I liked the idea more than the execution.

They really should have hinted that Lennier's plan to be with Delenn was simply to outlast Sheridan (who would be dead in 20 years anyway) and that when an opportunity came to take a shortcut he took it.

Lyta and G'Kar might have been problematic because by that point Lyta was massively overpowered. The solution to most of the problems would have just been "And then Lyta uses her telepathic powers".

But in Lost Tales they mention G'Kar and Franklin are travelling beyond the rim together. Now obviously this was a tribute to the actors who had played them having passed away, but the more I think about it, the more I realise that it would have made for an awesome show. Franklin is a military doctor so you have the travels of a warrior-priest and a warrior-doctor.

I think that now that Sheridan has left B5 and that Lochley has had some time to establish herself, she's probably less worried about people thinking she only got the job because of her relationship with Sheridan.

The funny thing is that this isn't the first show JMS has written technomages into. If you ever watched Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors as a kid, it's obvious that Gillian is the prototype that Galen and Elric were based on.

I’m still so jealous that Lyta gets to explore the universe with G’Kar. THAT’S THE MOST AWESOME ENDING ANYONE HAS GOTTEN IN A SHOW EVER.

I'm not going to spoil whether we see those characters or not in the films or in Crusade but I don't think it's a spoiler to say that Crusade isn't just the adventures of Lyta and G'Kar exploring the universe in a scout ship and that might be a missed opportunity.

Still, I also find it hard to credit that Londo seems to actually believe the Minister who keeps insisting that all the evidence was faked, and the video was staged. Especially after G’Kar reminds him about all the troubling things he witnessed for himself on Centauri Prime.

For the first time in a long time, I can say that I'm very excited to see the next episode!

It's hard to deny that the start of season 5 is a lot weaker than the stuff that proceeded it. I don't actually hate the Byron plotline but it's nowhere close to as good as the stuff that came before in season 4. But yeah, this is definitely an episode that reminds you what the show is about and how good it can be when it is on form.

One thing also worth remembering, Garibaldi has drunk dialled that very restaurant and ordered a pizza recently. That's definitely got to help explain why the waiters find it hard to believe he's not drinking now.
