After spending 11 years in the US I'm unfortunately not surprised that racism still exists. Here on the Gold Coast you don't see very many aboriginals, but there are a lot of Asians. Some of my son's best friends have Asian decents. I don't know what it will take or what has to happen for us to all just get along and be seen as equals?

I tried that 5:2 diet as well, but when you are active almost every day, it is very hard to stick to 500 calories. So I adjusted it to be 500 NETT calories. But still found it quite hard. Then I got sick and well, that threw it all out the window. I do find the science and research behind it fascinating though and it really does make so much sense. This recipe sounds dee-lish! x Aroha
