An image came to mind as I read this. Oh to KNOW the rhythm of the Father who leads us in this divine waltz! To step-in-step follow as He guides. Not too fast. Not too slow. Letting the light of His glory take centre stage, brighter and more breath-taking than any fancy footwork this world has to offer... the immense LOVE He has for those who dance with Him.

It's so encouraging to know that we have a Father who sees the whole picture. That even as the whole earth is rapidly changing, nations are on the verge of war and people are scrambling to make sense of the chaos, God is SURE of the order of all things. He IS a God of order after all. Yes, when He states that He is the Alpha and Omega, He is promising that He has ordained the outcome of His creation (including us). And we groan with all of creation--just as a child waits for something deeply desired--for His glory, His kingdom. Jesus, come and make it all right.

"21 the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay. 22 For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children,* including the new bodies he has promised us." Romans 8:21-23 (NLT)

Love, love LOVE!!! I'm totally tracking with you SRT! There is nothing like peeling open a "real" bible and hear the sound of real, tangible pages crinkle under my fingers as I study. Looking forward to doing Fresh Start again and getting back to the basics with you all!

Amen! He didn't leave us alone without help! Jesus, Messiah, Saviour...God WITH us. Thank You Father, for grace. For providing the way to redemption right from the very first transgression. What comfort for our fractured souls to find hope in You!

It's so nice to be back here with you SRT sisters! This month has been challenging with busyness and bittersweet emotion as our church family had to say goodbye to our precious friend and pastor's wife. Some of you may remember mentions of her in past comment posts. The way she lived her life determined to serve Jesus alongside her husband despite the debilitating effects of MS, despite being dependent of others to care for her body, it impacted me deeply. Shedding that sick body, she is now clothed with a new one. I can't help but smile when I picture her dancing with the angels, a nimble body again. But I have such a heavy heart for the family left behind. Sisters, will you please pray for my pastor and his 4 children with their respective families? They are hurting and now with holidays so close my heart breaks for their loss.

Looking forward to counting down the days meditating on the Word with all you SRT ladies. Blessings!

Where would any of us be IF Jesus came only for the healthy, the righteous, the pious ones? What IF the Messiah came instead to save the law-keepers who followed Torah perfectly, and turned his nose up to the meek, the sick, the sinners? How dreadful for us all! Thankfully, Jesus walked with the low, healed them and even used them. The most unlikely characters. The ones, hopeless with shady pasts, who desperately need to be saved? He calls them friends. How grateful I am!

Melinda, I hurt for your loss. I know the deep grief of losing one. One. The anticipation that grows each week, the hope before that terrible news is confirmed. Oh, dear sister, I just couldn't imagine having to do that 5 more times. I would love to wrap my arms around you, pray and cry with you.

God bless you for opening your heart to children through adoption! I am praying that the Lord will bring you perfect peace. No matter what's next. He is not finished with you yet!
