Big Government : GOP Debate Reactions, Part II

Ahh Ron Paul...I heard that he wanted to make taking drugs and then driving legal...oh wait...no he didn't... he said drugs should be a state matter...he used Heroin as an example; would YOU take heroin? I doubt it... would you take Heroin and DRIVE? no. And it will still be illegal to get high and hurt people...stop twisting his words. As to Iran, yes the people in power are extremists; so are the people in power in America...they want to destroy freedom. Have they? No, because the people haven't let them. Is it too much of a stretch to give Iranians that courtesy? To sort out there own problems. If Iran got 1, 2, or even 3 Nukes...they wouldn't use them...too many people don't like them. As to Ron Paul, he has my (in spirit) vote. I'd hate someone like Perry or Bachmann to get in...how anti-climatic.

Big Government : Saturday Open Thread: Cameron Edition

Ahh yes David Cameron, one of the few Prime Ministers in our History to do something worth remembering. I am not a Conservative supporter, I vote UKIP, but this rejection of the treaty is probably the first in a long line of EU rejections, ending hopefully in the total separation from the EU and the setting up of free-trade agreements that are win-win rather the zero sum game we play now. Did you know we spend over £50mil a DAY in total on the EU? And for what? Sure there are certain economic advantages but in my opinion the negatives far outweigh any benefit.

Big Government : US Dollar Triumphs Over Europe

Good! Good! and Good! Europe deserves NOTHING more than this. If I was America I'd have let the whole thing collapse under the weight of it's own stupidity. However, maybe the Euro will stabilize a little now.
