The Atlanta Post : How Bishop Eddie Long’s Settlement Affects The Black Economy

"Like any other business, churches have utility bills and capital expenditures to pay. However, the uniqueness of a church is it is also a non-profit, which means there are regulations to abide by in order to maintain its tax-exempt status." That doesn't make a church unique. Almost every other non-profit in the country is also a business with utility bills and capital expenditures.

Wow, interesting design. How many channels of DMX does this use? Anyone got the tech specs on this yet? I'd love to see this in action!

Resource : QR Bar codes: Useful or not?

I'm using them on flyers at the moment, but I'm hesitant to start using them on yard signs. I think they're a bit ugly, so when I do insert them I try to make it as on obtrusive as possible. I love the concept, but I don't think it's going to be the long term winner for bridging print and online connections. Someone is bound to make a far more elegant solution (augmented reality is already showing promise in that regard)

QR codes are the current "it" thing right now, but they will certainly be replaced within a few years. I like them on my yard signs, but I've been finding that they are indeed limited use. I'm working on creative ways to use them in marketing to get people to squeeze pages, so we shall see how well that works!

Real Estate Blog Pro : What is Your Goal?

I doubt you could ever see that on an established blog. In order to get 50% traffic from Facebook, you would need a massive campaign of some sort to get there, and I think any established blogger sees most of their traffic from Google.

Big Government : Long Hot Summer Begins: Congressman Attacks Student

Wow, why am I being attacked here? I'm not the jackass congressman who roughed up a guy on camera. I didn't get any "tweet" to come here, I don't think your condescending response to me is appropriate or necessary, I simply thought I was asking a valid question. Apparently not, my apologies.

Why is this video so heavily edited? What happened to lead up to this situation? This seems very one sided and biased to me

Great to hear the follow up to this story. Nice to know that Forbes is taking the Jimmy Hoffa approach: If no-one finds the body, it never really happened..
