Love the book, Rework. It's not only not in the gear...it's not in the budget or resources. Real creativity happens when the budget and resources aren't there. Anyone can throw gear and dollars at a problem or situation.

I'd check into Coroplast...or corrugated plastic. You can get that from your local sign company. Go with Natural color.

For each type of projector that distance is different. I would really suggest just playing around with it...you could get the math going...but it might be easier to just turn on the projectors and start moving them around. :)

Natural is actually semi translucent. While white is opaque. The thinner the better if you want the light to shine through. Hope that helps.
