John Glynn's blog: 911 Porsche tales and other stories : My Car History

Hi John, Very interesting car history you have there! Seems you have not been hooked on one brand but more aimed at testing them all ;) My history isn´t nearly as wide as yours but here we go: Started with my dad´s 1977 MB w123 and with moms Mazda 323 F, my first own car was Fiat Tipo 1,6 (unfortunately) and then I moved on to Citroen C2 1,4 VTR 20004 and then on to my current daily Seat Leon 2006 2,0 Tfsi which is a great great car. It has got me trusting everything VAG and my next daily will most definitely be one of their cars. And then of course there is my beloved Porsche 911 SC 1978 in original and very nice condition. This car is only driven on sunny days in the summer and only for fun. I can not believe how they managed to manufacture a car this good back in 1978. I love it and can´t get enough time in it. Thanks for your blog, it is an inspiration to me! BTW: Love The Orange! Must be a superb car to drive.

John Glynn's blog: 911 Porsche tales and other stories : Record Price for Early 911 at Auction

Whoa, a really nice example of an early 911, but that´s a lot of money. It will be interesting to see just how high will the McQueen Porsche sell for. I reckon it will be in a league of its own.
