Now the head of the CIA is a Muslim lover, the President is a Muslim lover, and the Secretary of Defense has questionable allegiances that may not be in the best interests of America and Americans. The next thing we are likely to see is an Egyptian attack on Israel with Obama, Brennan, and Hagel sitting in front of a TV eating popcorn and back slapping each other.
We the People have to clean out Washington no later than the 2014 elections. We must depose everyone that has not and does not demonstrate their absolute dedication to preserving, protecting and defending the Constitution. WE MUST NOT RE-ELECT ANYONE that does not demonstrate their absolute dedication to the United States and the Constitution upon which is stands,

Electric cars do have engines that have unusual demands placed on them through occasions use and coming on line under load when they are needed. Electric cars use batteries that are new technology as are the electrical systems that make the cars work. This has to include at least one on board computer.
Manufacturers of electric cars know what support these cars will/may require initially and over time and they should publish the requirements and specifications that businesses that wish to enter into the electric car support realm will need to know in order to provide acceptable services. Hooray for competition and may the guys with the best charging stations and repair centers win. No large businesses need apply, especially those that have foreign sources and/or production facilities.
Its time for businesses to cooperate and form alliances for meeting customer needs. Profits cannot be the guiding purpose for any alliance or any business. Profits are important for sure, but, they cannot be the sole purpose for having a business. There has to be concern for the customer who, after all, is the source of those profits. Happy customers keep coming back for more. When customers are happy the profits will take care of themselves. Why try to be a multimillionaire and unhappy when you can be a millionaire and be happy?

The best way to award such a contract is not sole source. Awards to multiple companies to provide First Articles that demonstrate each company's ability to provide an acceptable charging station that will perform to contract specifications in all respects. The contract award should be split amongst those companies that produce acceptable First Articles.
This way several companies will develop technologies and capabilities that America needs for the future and can market to foreign markets to expand the use of electric vehicles. The contract must include restrictions on the sale of government owned technology to foreign competitors and/or American companies doing business outside of the U.S. All production must be done in the U.S. and all components must be U.S. made from materials available in the U.S. . Any deviations from contracts would have to be justified in writing and approved by the agency letting the contract before any deviation takes place.
Each of the contracts must include a penalty clause that exacts a financial penalty on each successful contractor should any defaults in performance occur. The penalties should be significantly steep to prevent defaults from taking place and if they do take place, insure that they are of short duration.
Good sound contracting processes managed by contacting officers that have experience with simultaneous awards for demonstration models (first articles) and awards to more than one company for the same end product over multiple years of production performance. Each contract has to include the right for the contracting officer to perform in-plant surveillance during all phases of contract performance.
Should these processes, or processes quite similar, American citizens' money should be wisely spent. I have enough experience around government contracts and contracting to know that "political influence" can create unfair and unethical contracts awards. All attempts at letting this happen must be disclosed and publicized. If things won't pass the newspaper tests, something isn't right.

The one big thing that Heritage has not included is return to a value based economy. Many other countries are returning to the gold standard and the U.S. must seriously attempt to do the same thing. No progress can be made if we continue to base our economy on the amount of indebtedness incurred by our citizens. So much depends on how many houses are bought and the associated mortgages. The mortgage market has driven the cost of housing to extreme heights. Older houses are priced many times over the price at which they were sold when first built and that is ridiculous. A home that originally cost $28,000.00 can now have an asking price of $500,000.00 or more. This is not right because the home is now built out of materials that are nearly 100 years old and built using materials, technology, practices, etc., that are probably significantly inferior to those available in houses built in the last several years.
Return to the gold standard would be one of the best moves we could make towards improving our economy and rebuilding our country. The most important thing it would give us is out of the clutches and control of the World Bank; the Federal Reserve central bank. A privately owned banking system that is raping America and exploiting its control.
America should renig on its obligations to the Fed and tell them to take their business and shove it.
Two great presidents were assassinated for attempting to return to a value based currency; Lincoln and JFK. JFK had gotten so far as to have had money minted and ready for distribution just prior to his demise. That money completely disappeared within a few short days after his death. I wonder where it went.
The Heritage plan has merit but needs to include the FAIR TAX and return to the gold standard.

I suggest that you do a search on NPSD 51/NHSD 20.=C2=A0 I know they ar= e entitled "Continuity of Government" and that they are each worded nearly the same throughout, and that they are still in force.=C2=A0 The bears are hiding in the ambiguities included by President G. W. Bush when he issued them in 2007.=C2=A0 These directives were not canceled a= nd are still in effect.=C2=A0 Close scrutiny of the verbiage within these directives will show where the President in office at the time an "emergency" (determination and definition of an emergency is left up to the president in office as no definition is provided in the directives) arises that the president in office decides is a threat to our national being, he can send Congress home and disband the Supreme Court until such time as the "emergency" is ended (no definition is provided for what conditions must exist for the emergency to end.)=C2=A0 Thus, the president in office becomes the unilateral authority for all matters supposedly for the continuation of government.=C2=A0 Throughout these documents all decisions are ultimately left up to the president.=C2=A0
Under this scenario, retiree, we will be ruled by a dictator with total authority to do as he pleases in his efforts to insure our government survives the "emergency."

I agree that today we cannot believe all the we see or hear. We cannot believe or trust anything that we used to hold sacred. Every aspect of our lives. There has been a complete paradigm shift and many Americans are lost in the past. Worse yet, there are major numbers of Americans that still have their heads in the sand and apparently don't care about what is going on in government, still thinking that if there is a problem someone else will solve it. For their sake, I hope they are right.

The following is the conclusion to a treatise on the subject of Posse Comitatus by Major Craig Trebilcock who was, at the time the treatise was published, a member of the Judge Advocate General’s Corps in the U.S. Army Reserve. He was assigned, at that time, as an operational law attorney with the 153d Legal Support Organization in Norristown, PA. His area of specialization includes the laws applicable to U.S. forces engaged in operations in both the United States and abroad.
A link to the entire article follows the conclusion.
As to the FEMA detention centers, KBR was awarded an uncompeted contract for detention centers following the signing of NPSD 51/NHSD 20 in 2007. From the research I did when I learned of this I found that there has been at least two tests of the system for rounding up citizens that involved about 10,000 people each time. Those rounded up were supposedly told that they were arrested by mistake and sent home. I am sure some of the hype we are reading about this is either exaggerated or made up. But, how much is true? We don't really know and the government sure isn't going to tell us.
Conclusion
Is the Posse Comitatus Act totally without meaning today? No, it remains a deterrent to prevent the unauthorized deployment of troops at the local level in response to what is purely a civilian law enforcement matter. Although no person has ever been successfully prosecuted under the act, it is available in criminal or administrative proceedings to punish a lower-level commander who uses military forces to pursue a common felon or to conduct sobriety checkpoints off of a federal military post. Officers have had their careers abruptly brought to a close by misusing federal military assets to support a purely civilian criminal matter.
But does the act present a major barrier at the National Command Authority level to use of military forces in the battle against terrorism? The numerous exceptions and policy shifts carried out over the past 20 years strongly indicate that it does not. Could anyone seriously suggest that it is appropriate to use the military to interdict drugs and illegal aliens but preclude the military from countering terrorist threats that employ weapons of mass destruction? For two decades the military has been increasingly used as an auxiliary to civilian law enforcement when the capabilities of the police have been exceeded. Under both the statutory and constitutional exceptions that have permitted the use of the military in law enforcement since 1980, the president has ample authority to employ the military in homeland defense against the threat of weapons of mass destruction in terrorist hands. http://www.homelandsecurity.org/journal/articles/trebilcock.htm

The worst part of the NDAA for Fiscal 2012 is the presidential (every president from here on) power to arrest American citizens without due cause and hold them indefinitely without trial.
Who will arrest these citizen terrorists? Our military, who else? Did you think it was impossible for our military to arrest and detain American citizens? You are wrong, they can under certain conditions not a direct command from the President.
Ever heard of Posse Comitatus? This is a law that allows local law enforcement organizations to call in the Army and/or the Air Force to assist them with a situation that that agency cannot handle by themselves. Situations that shows this was the race riots in Alabama several years ago and the riots in San Francisco (I think) where a truck driver names Rodney started a situation that quickly got out of hand.
Should the President, through his czars, decide that one group or another of U.S. citizens are terrorists by his definition and he directs local law enforcement agencies to round these people up and put them in detention. There is the possibility that the numbers of people to be so rounded up can be far greater than local authorities could handle alone. Thus, in comes the Army and/or Air Force to help out. Oh, the military cannot refuse those requests.
So, good ole Obama can take a circuitous route around his not being able to activate the military against U.S. citizens by ordering local law enforcement to do his dirty work for him.
Have you thought about where large numbers of people labeled as terrorists could be detained? How about detention centers already built, and ready to be built, by FEMA. These detention centers are supposedly to hold illegal aliens rounded up for deportation. Yeah right, like that will ever happen.
More than likely they will hold people that have spoken out about Obama and his lying and unconstitutional acts, those that demonstrate their allegiance to the U.S., those that promote community awareness, and others that pose threats to him carrying out his agenda.
Are you willing to wait and see what he does? Why not start raising hell with your representatives in Congress and tell them in no uncertain terms that you are tired of their inactivity and unwillingness to address the problem of Obama, NOW.
Speak out folks, do research all the time, stay aware of as much as you can and keep others advised. We have to work together to save America. Vote for Ron Paul, he is our only hope as President.

Unite folks, stay alert, stay active, research and report what you find. Blast your representative and senators and don't let up. Those newly elected promised that they would return to the Constitution and protect it. They said that they will follow the wishes of their constituents. Hold their feet to the fire and make it happen.

Laws have already been changed and will probably be made to cover a larger segment of our citizens that will require that when you die the government gets your estate not your heirs. Starting January 1, 2011, when an estate is of a certain size, the government will be getting fifty percent of it. It probably won't take long for them to get it all from everyone. Remember, Socialist/Communists don't believe in personal property ownership. Only the government can own property, all of it.
Have you all bought guns and ammo for you and every family member? Be sure everyone knows how to use their weapon well and safely. Regular target shooting will help. I just read that somewhere in CA they have "gotten" citizens to turn in their guns. I don't know how they pulled that off but it stinks. Remember, "citizens without guns are slaves."
