'She dies trying to make it a Happy Diwali...', this made me spill my morning coffee, Kala. ROFL. Only you can think of such humour. This time I just let it go, thanks to all the travelling. And, as you rightly stated...we tend to stick to the good old sweets pa. Mysore pak and Kaju kathli are the easiest for me and I tend to overdo it a bit, festival after festival. What an interesting travel and shopping experience, Kala. We have been avoiding Bhuj anticipating a posting there..but looks like it is time to visit the place at least this year. Glad to learn about Shrujan trust and Bhujodi..and also interesting to learn that the Dhebhar Rabari community has evolved so much and are the actual ones working towards empowerment of women unlike the 'Feminists' of the urban space. I so so love his post..bookmarking it <3

Yes, parenting is akin to nurturing a sapling. And , like every plant's requirements are different so do the parenting styles and children's needs.I know you are doing your best with both and are awesome at both. keep going, be rest assured and enjoy the growth :)
