Sorry I should have been more clear, I guess you still can't see the comments on the latest Spoils post. (I thought you might be able to sort out viewing those comments somehow if you knew they were definitely working - eg. via a different device/browser/etc). I'm sorry for adding to your distress.

PythosCheetah from this community saved quite a lot of the videos and kindly shared a dropbox link in that post's comments in response to a very similar appeal by me and another person. (I also find rewatching Mark Reads videos immensely helpful in getting me through bad flare ups of my chronic health issues which happen pretty regularly, so like you I was also devastated when I discovered they'd disappeared).

Here's the dropbox - it doesn't have everything but hopefully you'll find enough to keep you going. (There was also a bit of discussion on the other post about being careful not to overload download limits so I have been careful to only download a few books per day). https://www.dropbox.com/sh/xpgo5prfay7vyvn/AABe0t...

I don't know why you can't comment on the newest post but there's a discussion in the comments about that there. There's also relevant info in the comments of this old mark spoils post: http://markspoils.blogspot.com/2021/05/weekly-she...

OMG, thank you so much both of you! I've downloaded my top 3 Tamora Pierce books today and will come back for my other favourites later. (Don't want to overload the download system if there is a limit so I'll spread them out).

You don't have the videos for The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by any chance do you? I looked in the misc patreon folder but it's not there.

At least I'll still be able to rotate through my Tamora Pierce favourites and maybe I'll add some Discworld/Enchanted Forest chronicles to my rotation. This will help my mental health so much when I'm going through a bad patch. It really means a lot to me.

I read Mark's patreon email about ending Mark Watches but I never realised that meant they would also be taking down their youtube channel. The Mark Reads channel hasn't had any new videos added to it for ages since Mark switched to written reviews only but it still stayed up then. I wish I'd known, I wonder if Mark would be willing to let patreons have The Long Way to the Small Angry Planet vids. I love listening to that one so much.

I was also devastated when I discovered today that the mark reads youtube channel wasn't available any more. I have watched Mark reacting to my favourite books many times over and still get a ton of joy out of it each and every time. These videos have actually been such an important part of helping me cope when I'm having a really bad flare up of my chronic health issues. Times when I'm too unwell to read myself or play videogames but I could still listen to and enjoy Mark's reading/reactions (and it always helped to take my mind off my health issues). I don't know what I'll do for that now. I guess can look into getting the real audiobooks but it just won't be the same without Mark's wonderful reactions

I plan to try to contact Mark via patreon in the next few days and ask if they could please make the videos available again, even just available to patreon supporters. But just in case, if anyone here did save any of the videos and could share them, I would be eternally grateful. (My particular favourites - that I have been rotating through when I'm too unwell to do anything else - are The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet & Tamora Pierce's Circle of Magic and Protector of the Small series)
