they are so heavy aren't they! I would never use mine if I had to keep getting it out. I keep the slow cooker & pressure cooker on top of the cupboard so they are semi accessible!

Hi Debbie, The plant pot & copper pot next to it were both from Homesense - random purchases that I've not seen since! the copper pot is actually a candle, as is the pineapple one, which was from Primark.

I didn't really think I *needed* one, but now I realise that my life hasn't been complete without one! (a tad dramatic??)😂

yes I used the screws that came with the legs. I didn't use a drill & the screws don't reach the drawers so don't affect their use. The pictures show the position of the legs on the shelf.

we took both the 5x5 & 4x4 apart to move from downstairs to upstairs & they went back together again fine. I added the board for the legs on this one so that I would still be able to stand it on it's end in the future if I wanted to, without having any holes.

it's a tricky decision to make isn't it! 20cm seems to work just right for this unit & I think you could get away with lower for a larger unit - I wanted to make sure that it was higher than the skirting board so it would sit flush to the wall, and these worked well. Good luck & I'll check out that site for next time, thank you :)

thank you! the legs are 20cm, but I don't think he'll be making more as he said they were quite tricky to get all the same height. I have seen similar on Ebay / Amazon but they usually come with bolts in. I'm not sure I would attempt to put them on a 5x5 as they are quite heavy - we had one a few years ago that I wanted to add some short legs to but we decided against it as it was so heavy - if you did it you would definitely need legs in the middle too. This could do with one as it does slightly bow in the middle.
Hope this helps. :)
