<description>Going with your dates for the millennial gen (which are slightly off), the youngest of them are 14 years old in 2014. To me that makes claims such as &amp;quot;1 in 10 make over $100,000&amp;quot; hard to believe. Someone&amp;#039;s pulling numbers out of some dark hole. #Don&amp;#039;tBelieveTheHype. And read Strauss &amp;amp; Howe.  </description>

<description>Fascinating. In 1985, I graduated with a degree in a self-created field: Culture &amp;amp; Technology, with a minor in women&amp;#039;s studies. Through a fluke of a fluke of a fluke with a healthy dose of synchronicity, I found myself working for a newly created National Association of Women in Communications Industries org (me and the ED, that is) and by &amp;quot;work&amp;quot; I mean volunteering FT. NAWCI was, I believe, the first organization for women in high tech. I wasn&amp;#039;t, per se, from the field. More interested in then -- and still now -- in culture change.  There was pretty much nothing then about women and technology. Fascinating, lovely and awesome to see/witness/experience such a change.  </description>
