Will Grayson, Will Grayson was absolutely phenomenal, and I love Janet Lee Carey so much it hurts. I just sent my youngest sister a copy Dragon's Keep b/c I somehow wound up with two of them. I can't wait to hear what you think. Dragonswood is one of my favorite YA fantasies EVER.

It's been so long since I've visited Terre d'Ange, but I hope to go back eventually, and I'm in the middle of GRAVE PERIL and loving it. I am a Jim Butcher convert. If you're already on #13, there's no way I'll catch up to you, but I am definitely trailing behind ;)

I still need to read the second book, but all of the fabulous reviews of book 3 that I'm seeing, and telling me to hurry up with it already ;) I'm glad the series is still rocking your socks off!

I actually didn't mind the first MihE book either. At first. But yeah, the second book was awful, and the things I didn't like about it made me go back and reevaluate my initial response to the previous book. I definitely want to give Sempre another try, b/c since the last time, I've read a lot of mafia-type books, and MC books too (which to me are kind of similar, but maybe not to others), and I've like them a lot. Definitely not this one though ;)

LOL! When I saw this in my bloglovin' feed, I was like . . . ugh. BUT. It was silly to assume that just b/c you reviewed it, you liked it. I haven't read this one, but I've tried to read others by this author, and I've had problems. Lots of reckless romance seems to be a theme in her books. o.O At least it was in Monster in his Eyes. You've convinced me to take another look at Sempre though. I think I tried to read it a couple of years ago, but wasn't in a contemporary mood. Anyway, sorry this one was a let down :(

I know I'm way late in getting over here, but I don't care, b/c I LOVE THIS BOOK TOO!! I think it might be the first fantasy romance I ever read. It's been years now, so I can't remember all the names, but Kier's manservant guy? The one who calls Kier "hisself"? Best part of the book, LOL. Great review!

You know, generally speaking, I was pretty sure that I'm a reasonably nice person. But after seeing review after review where the reviewer says they had sympathy for Levana, I'm starting to wonder, LOL. B/c I didn't. Not at all. I mean, I acknowledged that some seriously bad things happened to her, and that those things helped to shape her development, but still . . . I'm pretty sure she would have been CRAY anyway. Whatever. You loved it. I loved it. And I'm glad ;) Great review, Nara.

*snickers* I was too horrified by how seriously disturbed she was to appreciate her determination. But yes, she definitely was . . . o.O

I'm glad you liked this, Jeann. I thought it was great too, and I cannot wait to get my hands on Winter. Great review!

Thanks for the honesty. I've been thinking of trying one of the multitude of new YA mystery/thrillers, and this one was on this list b/c I've heard good things about the author. BUT yeah, unanswered questions drive me nuts too, and it sounds like that's just one of the problems.

Yes and no, LOL. When put on the spot like you were describing, 75% of the time I come up blank. The only knee-jerk response I've trained myself for is: I like blah, blah, what do you think I should read next? But favorite quotes? No way man. That's why I highlight like a demon when I'm reading a book for review.

BUT. When it comes to tiny, minuscule details from other books (or movies) while I'm reading a different, but similar book . . . I'm a nuisance. I see every commonality, and sometimes I wish I didn't. Like with Golden Son--I know you loved it, and so did I, but that part that so closely resembles a scene from Star Trek (doyouknowwhatimtalkingabout), really bugged me. REALLY bugged me. Blah.

Great discussion post ;)
