Ha ha ha! Thanks for the great post. I find it rather lame when authors label themselves as best sellers for reaching number one in obscure categories like the one you made up. Though YA paranormal dinosaur erotica might be highly entertaining! :-D

I can relate to overusing a few words in each manuscript. And I can also relate to feeling angry from my first read of edits. After a temper tantrum, I return and get to work! I've been lucky to have the same brilliant editor for 7 novels---love her!

Amen to loving clean cut heroes and heroes with talent! The hero on your cover looks a little bit like Chris Isaac, who I just saw perform. (He was amazing!) Great post and best of luck to you on your writing adventure.
