Breitbart.tv : Obama Ties Bible to Sen. Byrd's Legacy

Conservatives have found delight in this because they get to raise the issue that Byrd's past is being underplayed when compared to Sen. Trent Lott, R-Miss., who in December 2002 caused a major ruckus when he offered praise at the 100th birthday celebration for Sen. Strom Thurmond, R-S.C. Least one forget that a lot of these people came from a time and culture when these things were acceptable. Byrd and others who saw their mistake's should be allowed to rest in peace. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Second, we will more easily be able to block and eliminate obscene, violent, and racist imagery ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ there was a jig living in the White House Well Mr Breitbart that didn't last long did it?

It seems odd to me to bring up someone's mistakes at their funeral.
