I think it's success is due to the hidden link to the movie site in the right sidebar of Big Hollywood... Seriously though, great job Sherwood! Keep up the good work!

After working in the Iowa elections, the votes are indeed tabulated, and results posted at each precinct before they are sent in. GOP and Democrat observers sign off on the totals, and you are welcome to stay and hear the outcomes in each precinct. That's how the totals are known before the official results are broadcast. It's a pretty good system, and if it's compromised, you still have the hand filled out ballots to go back to. You can even feed the machines again. Lots of worry about nothing.

Newt, by a long shot. It'll be like giving Albert Pujols a hanging curveball with the bases loaded. Especially since Wolf has been "rehearsing" retorts, in case Newt insults him (per Rush today).

Big Hollywood : Christian Toto: Why Don't Conservatives Support Conservative Films?

This +10000 cool points! I loved Atlas Shrugged, what was wrong with that story? Couldn't see The Undefeated because I'd have to go to Kansas City to see it, over 3 hours away. If you aren't going to release it in theatres widely, then release it online, or with DVD sales. To heck with the current business model. Radiohead seems to be doing ok with self release of his songs, as well as some other artists.

Big Hollywood : 'Cowboys and Aliens' Review: Plenty of Cowboys and Aliens, But Little Excitement

A movie doesn't have to be complex to be good. Sometimes, you just need strong characters, and develop them throughout the movie. I think there was plenty of excitement in this movie. If Dolarhyde hadn't been an overbearing boss with a spoiled brat son at the beginning, the scene with the Chiricahua later wouldn't have had as much impact. If Lonergan had any idea who he was at the beginning, the end confrontation wouldn't have made as much sense. There are other instances, but these two really stand out to me. I think the producers and writers did a good job tying the story together. You can find worse ways to spend part of an afternoon. I think this was one of the better movies of the summer.

Big Hollywood : 'The Wall' Concert Review: 'Mother, Should I Trust the Government?' 'No F**king Way.'

I saw this show in Kansas City, and it truly was as memorable as Mr Meyers makes it out to be. I was going to go out for a beer at intermission, but the images of the fallen on The Wall was too much to pass up. Quite a stirring image, for a very visually stirring show. If this comes out on DVD or Blu Ray, I highly recommend it to anyone that is a rock fan, not just Pink Floyd or Roger Waters fans. This is what a concert is supposed to be.
