Thank you, sir! I can say that the first time I considered this was all the way back in spring 2011 or so, so I went through a constant back-and-forth for quite a while as well. Finally, though, I realized I was just done, at least for the time being.

Thanks!

For toy news I usually hit up a lot of different sites via Feedly (since Google Reader closed), but Toy News International, ToyArk and Action Figure Fury are pretty good for all-around action figure news. Most of the other sites I follow are more specific to a brand or two.

Hi Shawndra - thank you for posting and letting us know. That's great news, and I'm very happy to hear it. I'll post an update about it.

Hi David - if you visit the Fwoosh thread I linked to in the above article (there are a few separate links), there is some advice on what to do regarding the foot and other stuck limbs. I think the primary advice is to warm it up and then carefully move it, but I would review the thread or even ask for help on it.

Well, I knew these would be a huge hit the minute I heard about them.

You know, these look a lot like ToyBiz's Lord of the Rings work. Which makes sense, since I believe Gentle Giant worked on those too.

Oh, I hadn't heard of it either. It's more the novelty of there being another 6" Star Wars line out there after three and a half decades of nothing but 3.75" and 12".

I'd say it worked as well as it possibly could have in the Internet age...when was the last time a toy debuted on retail shelves instead of the Internet? Because technically that's what happened here. It's pretty damned amazing.

And these will probably hit en masse just as the show starts up again in April - pretty impressive, and excellent timing.
