http://www.knoxmccoy.com/ : A Christian Apology

I'd apologize for people who make Jesus into a savior for only some people, not all people. Also, for the generations of Christians who perpetuate the "health, wealth and happiness" version of Christianity. PS Totally shocked about the whole you're-not-a-frog-thing. Nice twist!

1. No. I've never had one long enough to get attached. 2. Smell. My nose is entirely too sensitive and often think I would prefer it if I couldn't smell anything. 3. Alone time. Just 15 minutes where you can sit at your desk and not have to be responsible for anything work related. I can rarely even do that at lunch when I leave because of freaking emails on my phone and/or phone calls.

WordPress blog at kevinkeigley.com : The Muse

In no particular order except for the type of order in which I list the things that inspire me starting with the most important one: -Alone time. -Playing music. -Reading a book that I can apply to my life right now. -Talking with people about how God is actively working in their or my life... lives.. lifes. I'm really not sure how to word that. -My wife. She's right a lot of the time and inspires me to live up to the standard I should be striving for. Last but not least. Aunt Brenda- Her letters from the state pen always inspire me to make sure my address is unlisted and to write the board every time she has a parole hearing.

What I'm most curious about is the fact that they have a "MidNite PM". Why? It's like if they Ambien came out with a "PM" version of its drug. What did they add? Answer: Horse tranquilizers.

WordPress blog at kevinkeigley.com : Things and Stuff and Such 7

1. Performing. Not usually dancing, but doing a motion with my hands that reminds me of Swedish metal. Kind of an upside down eagle-claw. 2. I bought one of those pull-up bars that screws into your door frame. The purchase in and of itself wasn't that stupid, but literally 1 week later they came out with that awesome set up that didn't require screwing it in and had all kinds of other awesome features. 3. My friend had a small 50cc dirt bike. I had never ridden a dirt bike. He told me to hop on, so I did. I revved the tiny, baby engine and popped the clutch and he screams "OH YEAH IT DOESN'T HAVE ANY BRAKES!!!" So I laid it down. On top of a rock approximately the same size as the bike. His parents weren't home and we were 14 at the time, so we just pushed the 1/2" wide gash on my leg together and put about 12 band-aids the 6" length of it. Also, I almost cut the tip of my finger off at the knuckle when I was 4, but we'll talk about that over lattes later.
