I'm rather neutral on this, except for Good & Plenty. I despise this sad excuse of a candy with all that I am.

The Blazing Center : Win Free Books!

I probably would like Meaning at the movies. Heard it's good. I'm not a woman, and giving the way with words book to my girlfriend would probably be taken as a nasty hint and I don't feel like dealing with the repercussions of that... Anyway- my pastor thinks I have a problem as I know too much about movies... so it would be good. AND if I get it, I can share it with my buddy Josh Otte who commented way before me... It'd be like four winners. I could just say God predestined you to give me the book... but then I probably would need to read the holiness of God instead. Quite a conundrum there...

My issue has been the same where I get up and turn my phone on right away. This is hardly conducive to anything. So recently I have been trying to wait until I'm ready to get the day going to turn the phone on.

Awesome. We had a van break down on the way to a music festival then another on blow a tire coming back. Needless to say, there were plenty of guys playing their guitars while we figured out what to do. And obviously the girls were very much loving the fact that these guys were musically inclined... to play their three chords.

Josh Cousineau | The Blog : Youth Group Rethought

We need to be more focused on being with others- doing things with other people. If we do the mundane tasks of life alone, it's boring and more me-centered. But if we do them with other people, we get involved in their lives and do those tasks while inviting others along (eating, speaking engagements, etc) we are involved not only in what they are interested in, but we get a glimpse into their lives just as they see into ours. It makes us super transparent, which hurts sometimes... but is needed.
