I totally agree -- best episode of the season, hands down. I was actually pretty disappointed with all the other episodes this season, although I giggled quite a bit at Too Many Pinkie Pies, and there were some truly great moments in the premiere. I waited to watch this one till today because I was sure it would be another let-down, but it delivered everything I love in an episode, times 10. And you say it was written by someone new to the show?? Brb, going to stalk her and thank her for such an awesome episode.

I was lucky enough to find out about the show about 2 weeks before season 2, so I got all the hype and anticipation without the months and months of waiting. Although there was that dang break between "Return of Harmony" and "Lesson Zero", grrrr.

A lot of people like to tell skinny people, "Oh, you're so lucky, I wish I was you!" But the truth is, being underweight can be just as bad as being overweight. My mom had a friend with a thyroid problem who was dangerously underweight no matter how much she ate, and she wanted to punch people who said that to her.

Not that I would know. I'm what they call "well-insulated". :D
