- 48 with the windchill (F/C doesn't matter much after -40). Exposed skin freezes is less than 30 seconds. Eyelashes freeze together. Adults stay inside and make babies. It's amazing our population isn't higher.

Great recap. I saw most of the Oscars but missed the red carpet. I am still reliving two years ago when I was in Hollywood the weekend the Oscars were going on and had tickets to Oprah's After-Oscar Show in the Kodak Theatre (where I had what I call a "moment" with Colin Firth...). Sigh...

That is awesome. What is most amazing is that you're done and it's not even February. I am completely un-crafty. And yet, I was asked to go on Breakfast TV (this morning) about indoor activities to keep your kids busy with when the weather is horrible. When I told my daughter what the topic was, she asked (somewhat rhetorically), "Do you even know anything about that?" Busted by an 8yo.

Wow. Is this timely. Because my book is coming out in 99 days (yes, I counted) and because I'm reading for a big-girl panties blog (i.e. self hosted), I would love this consult.

I love how CLEAN your blog is. That's something I very much want. It's also not uber-feminine and doesn't use comic sans serif font, which makes me want to photocopy my a$$ 25x and then throw it (or the copies) through a shredder.

And did I mention January 30th is *my* birthday? I'll be older than ten, however. I'll be 10 + 8 *4. I hope your readers remember Order of Operations.

I tend not to resign; I just move countries. I say something like, "I'm moving to Bahrain. So I don't think I'll be able to keep teaching in Ontario..."
