The Federal gov't essentially requires none. In fact, the federal form doesn't even ask for citizenship status while the state form does. SCOTUS ruled that Arizona could not require more information than the Federal form asked for - and this is the important part - when the registrant is using the Federal form. When the registrant uses the AZ state form, AZ can require proof of citizenship. SCOTUS was saying AZ can simply put the Fed forms in a back room to gather dust and use only their state voter registration form. Nevertheless, Ted Cruz introduced legislation today to include citizenship status on the Federal form also.

The same poller shows voters approving the Ryan Budget while disapproving of Ryan himself. Also, voters approve of Obama while disapproving of his policies. We've come to a point in American politics in which we can favor the message without favoring the message and vice versa.

I lost my job at the end of May 2009 and I knew I'd be laid off with the election of Obama the previous November. My employer and I had talked about what was most likely to occur and it did. I used my 99 weeks of UI while looking for employment. What I learned in my job search was that with the coming Obamacare, I was potentially too costly to hire because of the disability.

I applied for and was granted Fed disability because I had been born crippled. After many corrective surgeries as a child, I managed to work for most of 26 years as an adult before Obama, but at the same time, my disability was getting more difficult to manage. I hear from disabled friends that they have heard the same reservations from employers.

Two of the worst things that have ever happened to the disabled community is the ADA and ACA. Without those programs, I'd probably still have a job paying well enough to buy my own medical insurance. Government and the love Liberals have for the less fortunate have essentially destroyed my life and put me in poverty.

I think that I would have lined up for cheap gas if even Obama had personally lowered the price at a gas station near me. The immediate purchase of gas, I think, had nothing to do with politics and everything with cheap gas for sale.

That's true - in raw numbers. However, as a percentage of the total White and Black population, a larger portion of Blacks withing the Black population receive gov't assistance than the portion of Whites within the White population receive gov't assistance. Even as a percentage of the total population, a larger percentage of Blacks than Whites receive gov't assistance... keeping in mind there are three kinds of lies - lies, damned lies, and statistics.

Poll sample groups should begin with 33.3% Democrats; the Republican sample size should be about 37%. If the Republican sample size isn't 4 points higher or the Democrat sample is greater than Republican, the poll is invalid.
