I agree. What is up with these brief-like posts. Summary: SEC is top heavy, and not in the good way; there's a lot of bark but no bite, much like a chihuahua. The SEC has recruited 'insiders' to rat on their co-workers who may be committing fraud. Further, the SEC is monopolizing the 'regulation' of the finance world- giving little room for private frms to flourish. Overall, the SEC is recruiting ponzi-prone folks to rat on eachother and trying to look tough doing it.

Again, my ADD kicked in after the title. Too long to read in full, but from what I did read, I already knew: Insider Trading is bad. When the big guys move, so does the market. Conclusion: As of right now, it's still legal. So, who cares.

Plenty of the big swinging dickies on Wall Street don't take the exams because they can swing it hard enough so that nobody bats an eye. If it's between having a top-producing person on your team or knowing that they may fail a test and not be able to bring in the big money, I doubt that these guys would go with the latter.
