"Show-Me State" is actually Missouri. I hope TV's Andy Levy corrected you at halftime about this.

Big Government : ObamaCare: The Government’s Rationing Toolbox Exposed

Interesting. I wonder if there is some connection with a rival drug company being in the pocket of lawmakers? Relatively speaking, Avastin is cheap. A similar thing happened in regards to the care and treatment of the wet form of macular degeneration. There was a patented drug, Lucentis, that was being marketed and used for treatment. Then it became apparent that Avastin was just as effective at treating this form of macular degeneration for a fraction of the cost, and many began using it. So it wasn't long before a move was underway to make the use of Avastin for treatment of this devastating disease essentially malpractice.

Big Hollywood : More Anti-Christian Propaganda From ‘Law & Order'

L&O always likes to do parallel versions of current events ... I'm waiting for the episode where they investigate an attempted murder of a child actress by her father and brother because she was dating someone who wasn't a Christian. Wait, did I say Christian? I meant Muslim. Guess I'll be waiting a long time.

"trying to write David Brooks, Kathleen Parker, etc out of the movement" Brooks, Parker, and yourself (voting for Obama, open borders advocate, calling the Etheredge assault a "hug") have written yourselves out of the movement.

Big Hollywood : Jack Bauer & '24' Go Out On Final High Note

I also tuned out the past 3 seasons, only to come back for this 8th and final one. I'm glad I did, as I think it was the best season 24 has ever had. The last 6-8 hours were incredible. I could have, however, done without the worst side-plot/storyline in television history - the hillbilly boyfriend from Arkansas. It was just awful. I was out of my seat yelling at the tv when Pres Taylor threatened Hassan's country with destruction if they didn't sign the treaty. I was also really hoping Bauer was going to plug the Russian President when he had him in the sniper sights, if only to see the chaos that would have ensued. Anyways, I think they ended the series perfectly. I was worried they overdo it by killing off Jack in some over dramatic way.

Big Hollywood : REVIEW: In Which I Vigorously Defend 'Sex and the City 2'

I can never figure out how Liberals and fundamentalist muslims ended up on the same side of the PC spectrum. Can hate for conservative Christians really cross all other barriers? Also, I LOL'ed at this line: A little later, back in America and with red, white and blue fireworks exploding overhead, Samantha’s back getting her brains screwed out on the hood of a jeep as Carrie’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) voice-over mentions with no small amount of appreciation, “the land of the free.” Yes, I get misty eyed just thinking about

Hell, there are lines that aren’t jokes that are somehow funny because of the casting of Carrey and Jeff Daniels "Hey guys. Woah, Big Gulps, huh? *awkward pause* "All right! Well, see ya later."
