Government is NOT a charitable institution and it has no right to redistribute other people's money. Americans are very charitable people, but it's up to individuals to decide who gets their money, not some bureaucrat we didn't elect. If you don't understand that, that is your problem. Our Constitustion is very clear as to the enumerated powers of the government, and nowhere does it specify any entitlement programs to be created. If you look up the original meaning of the word 'welfare' it meant 'well and fare, exemption from any unusual evil or calamity, the enjoyment of peace and prosperity', not what people understand it to mean today which is aid in the form of money or govt programs.

I am really disgusted by this fraud the GOP is perpetrating. And what I really find disheartening is that Stephanie MacDonald's petition to have a visible vote recount in Nevada is not getting the signatures needed. She only needs 7,500 signatures, yet can't get passed 6,000. Why isn't every Ron Paul supporter signing up for this? http://www.change.org/petitions/nevada-gop-we-dem... But others are correct. The Ron Paul supporters in Nevada should be gathering and finding out how many of them actually voted in Nevada then take it up with the election board. I would love to know why they are not.

The Republicans 'lost' the votes for 8 precincts in Iowa so no one knows who won there. Now let's look at the 'growth rate' of votes for Ron Paul between his 2008 run and this year. In Iowa, votes for Ron Paul increased 120%. In NH, they increased by 211%. In SC, the increase was 385%. In FL, it was 87%. Now we get to Nevada, where Paul only increased his 2008 vote count by 1%??? Really? Sure, they claim 'low voter turnout' - but since when do Ron Paul supporters not show up? Everyone knows Paul supporters are the most energetic. Also, if there was no election fraud, why did the GOP chairs from both Iowa and Nevada QUIT after the question of fraud was raised? And why did over 900 dead people voted in SC? If that isn't voter fraud, then I don't know what is. The Repub chair's job is to purge the voter rolls. Blind faith in the Repub party gives them the opportunity to commit the same fraud as the dems. Wake up.

Thanks for the chuckle. Out of 100% of the estimated illegal aliens in our country, 70% are on some kind of welfare. Out of 100% of legal immigrants - 59% get welfare. Out of 100% of American Americans - 39% are getting welfare. Back in 2004, it was estimated that illegals were costing California over $10BILLION a year with all the freebies they get like schooling, medical care, housing, etc - and that's just one state. Does that make it clearer for you?

A report from the Center for Immigration Studies found that illegal aliens with children acount for 70% of all government handouts. Legal immigrants got 59% while American Americans only recieved about 39%. Illegals shouldn't be recieiving a dime let alone be able to vote. But, as we've seen in Iowa, Nevada and Maine, this election/voter fraud isn't just about Obama and the dems, the repubs engage in it, too. AsS I've written before, it's time for IDs that are gotten with proof of CITIZENSHIP, paper ballots and purple fingers.

That's not what was said. John Adams said, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people." And Adams didn't have very nice things to say about the Jews he had to deal with in the Netherlands and he worried that the Jesuits would come to America and ruin it. He also said all the religion he needed was the 10 Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount. Admittedly, I do have a problem with revisionist history. Our Founders left plenty of missives they wrote themselves and I suggest you read some of it.

Iowa GOP loses the votes from 8 counties. Ron Paul gains nearly double the votes in every election held so far EXCEPT in Nevada where it seems the Clark County votes may have been surpressed. Maine GOP tells an entire county they must postpone their caucus only to tell them afterwards that their caucus votes will not count. It's not just voter fraud that's being perpetrated, but election fraud, too. They have to purge the voter rolls more often than they do. It's also time for voter ID cards. Then, either a purple finger or a henna stamp on the back of the hand with the precinct number after a paper ballot is tossed in a box with a recorder/live stream video focussed on the box while voting is taking place. After the voting is complete, the votes are tallied aloud and recorded both on paper and the entire procedure is videoed. And no more union controlled voting machines. I'm sure the fraudsters will still try to get around this, but it will be much harder.

Romney stated he would have signed the NDAA just AS IS! Had he said he would NOT have allowed those sections in that bill that abrogate our 5th, 6th and 8th Amendment rights, he MIGHT have had a chance to be seen differently. But he is just as power-hungry as any of the warmongerers. I find it rather stunning that any American would concede that which is unalianable. Read your Constitution and find out all the things it tells the fed govt what it CANNOT do to the free citizens of this country. Then read the Declaration if Independence and read why we separated from Great Britain and you will see many of the abuses from then that we are suffering today, acts and programs Romney wants to continue. Plus, Romeny continually calls America a 'Democracy'. I have never heard him call her a Republic. He's either clueless or a leftist. Ron Paul is the only candidate who understands what our Founders were creating and what our Republic is all about.

LOL, This article was GREAT! But you really need to add Lindsay Graham. He's about 1,000 times worse than DeMint. The sad aspect of this commentary is that these people mentioned are polticians and it seems that once a person becomes a politician they deem themselves superior to us little people. It's a matter of ego vs self-confidence. A person with self-confidence never has to assume superiority over another. It's a quality politicians lack. Give me a stateman any day over a politician.

Then you know absolutely NOTHING about NAFTA. NAFTA is step one in the creation of the North American Union, and if you don't know what that is then I suggest you research it thorougly. NAFTA GATT and thw WTO all stripped sovereignty away from the US just as our continued member ship with the UN does. Just a little over 2 years ago Newt said he wants to fundammentally transform our entire government system because 'it' doesn't work in the 21st Century. That does not sound like someone who wants to downsize the government but it does sound like someone who wants to make it into something our Founders wouldn't recognize. Newt also said we have to rethink the 1st Amendment because the world is 'so dangerous' we can't let the 'terrorists' have free speech, too, so We the People need to lose some of our free speech. Please vet Newt and look up what I've noted here. Your knowledge of him seems lacking.

Did you know that Boehner's mentor was none other than Newt Gingrich? Yup, Newt was grooming him to become the Speaker one day. I had been watching a rather long video about Newt and they showed images of those two together and talked about it. After seeing that, I knew Boehner would never be an effective Speaker. Newt and Clinton did more deals than Wall Street to advance their shared CFR schemes and because of things like the expanded CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) we had the housing bubble. Newt and Clinton also worked on NAFTA, GATT and the WTO together. So it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that Boehner is following in his mentor's footprints and working with Obama against We the People. Boehner needs to go - NOW!

The problem with SS is that it was never meant to be a retirement scheme - I think FDR knew all along it would just be another pay stream right into the hands of our dirty politicians. Abraham Epstein, who had led the lobbying effort for a government-run program, wrote in Nation magazine, “Experience everywhere indicates that politicians will hardly be able to keep their hands off such easy money.” Edwin E. Witte, a University of Wisconsin economist who FDR appointed to develop the original SS, warned that it would create unfunded liabilities “upon which future generations will have to pay large amounts annually.” Ron Paul's plan of ending foreign aide and using it for SS and giving those under 25 an opt-out is a great plan to start the end of this madness.
