Yeah, you know summer sucks when I'm looking forward to SKET Dance and Gundam AGE. I also finally finished Gosick~ loved Victorique, but Kujo was annoying to watch >.> first half was also weak, but the second half + the finale totally made up for part 1 and Kujo lol. I'm considering dropping everything except Hyouka, AGE, Kuroko, Tari Tari, Kokoro Connect and Natsuyuki.

I hear a lot of good things about Bakuman, a better than average J.C. Staff show like KimiBoku and Ano Natsu but wow that was a pretty philosophical quote in the first paragraph, pretty wise 14 year old kid. Seems like everyone I know majors in computer science, engineering or math: seriously, I'm so glad I'm majoring in History (looking forward to taking three remedial math classes. >.>). Here, college talk doesn't really start until junior year (third year in HS), but at that time I could care less and it wasn't until the middle of my senior year that I started to care, if only a little bit. It was either college or get a job, because my family is on this affordable housing plan but in order to stay on it, me being 18 I have to find work or go to school or I get kicked out of my house...really nice, huh? Anyways I'm currently in community college, which here in America it's before a full on university mainly because my grades stink lol. So far I really like it, and I'm glad I didn't just go straight into a university and pay upwards of $30,000 a year cause now I have more than enough financial aid money to spend on what I want (anime, lol).

Now sure, finding a good paying job is important, but if you're not enjoying your job then there's no point in being there. I'd much rather work at a place I love being at even if the pay is less, then work with high wages and a negative attitude.

What intrigues me: Bakuman was created by the guys who made Death Note? Damn, that's interesting lol. Anyways, long comment is long haha.

I agree with Angel Beats: I didn't find the drama that compelling, but OMG the comedy in AB was hilarious! The shounen manga scene and the rocket chair scene were totally hilarious and I still find them funny, a year after watching it. Props to whoever thought of the comedy, but Otonashi's past was definitely the saddest and compelling for me. The last scene with him and Kanade didn't do much for me IMO :/

FINALLY! Someone likes Gundam SEED, seems like everyone bashes it...it was also my first Gundam anime too :D. Loved Geass, duh to Steins;Gate and Durarara was good but Baccano! is infinitely much better you ought to see that.

I've had SKET Dance on hold for a while (I think i left off on 33 or something), but it sounds like there's still really good jokes and characters to be seen, so if summer's looking like a snooze I'll continue it.
