Did anyone get this when it was on offer? It's a fantastic game.... :) I'm not that good at the later levels, but my husband is great on it, heh! I just like the mini-games ;)

Wow! This game looks great - what a shame it's 400 points... but I'll give it a go, and you never know.... it might be the first Indie game I've paid 400 points for ;)

Blimey TOKYO 2029 A.D looks a bit gory, doesn't it?! I remember when blood had to be shown as green in video games, lol!

I got this a while ago now, and I too thought it was pretty good... is it cheating to turn my brightness all the way up to see further than the lamp-post though!? :*)

Gamergeddon : DOTW: Borderlands Zombie Island DLC

Boo! DLC for the Deal of the Week, two weeks running.... lol! I rented Borderlands for a week from Blockbusters, and at first I thought was brilliant... then, I just got bored with it. It just didn't grip me like Fallout did.... it's one of those I'll probably pick up if I see it cheap enough :)

Yea, it worked really well - the glasses were red / cyan - I've got about 3 different type of 3D glasses, and the ones I got with the Coraline Blu-ray don't work at all, but these red / cyan ones I got with Toy Story Mania on Wii and they're perfect!

Gamergeddon : XBLA Wednesday: Final Fight Double Impact

Yea, I found that really annoying too (about that achievement tracker thingy) - not so noticeable on Final Fight, but how are you supposed to see if your gauge is full when it is being covered on Magic Sword!? Hope they sort that out... I won it fromhttp://twitter.com/TheGamersHub for tweeting an ultimate combo - didn't think for a minute I'd win, lol!

Managed to win a code for this, and boy, does Final Fight bring back memories, hehe! Only thing is I played it on the Spectrum 128k not the arcade so feels like "WOW" compared to what I was used to, hehe! :)

3D infinity looks great - can't wait to try it out! I just heard that Scrap Metal had a 3D mode, and I tried that this morning - it's pretty good! :) Edit: Just tried 3D infintity and the 3D in it is fantastic! I was really impressed! Shame the game is 400 points... just is bit too expensive for me :( Will be watching it in case it has a price drop in the future :)

Gamergeddon : Code competition winners

I think having it where the winners of the competition are from people that contribute via comments on the site is good, but maybe only have one entry per person regardless of how many comments they've given? Then, people that make only one comment have as much chance as those that comment 20 times... But if people don't comment, then how can they expect to win? I was thinking myself that I might end up winning in this compo when I wasn't trying to, was just enjoying commenting on the various articles... only seemed to be really myself an JJ that were doing it, lol!

That's what i was saying to the husband... £60 is an absolute rip off. I've just come home and checked on the web, and it would have been £35 from IKEA.com - so now I feel like getting that item for free was 'someone' looking out for me :)

Well so far today I've been looking round IKEA, spending a fortune trying to do out the back room upstair to be more like an office / study... then getting all upset at the cost of delivery (£60!),and then being happy again when they forgot to scan one of the items (£30),heheh! - I don't encourage stealing, though, folks...I didn't realise until I was on the way home :D Now, I'm gonna go do a bit of gardening :) Oh the exciting life I lead.... ;p

Is that right? That you fly with the right stick and shoot with the left? That's backwards to normal, isn't it?! That'd take me some getting used to, if you've got it right.....?
