Sounds like a great idea - I think we've all been in this boat before and so this could be a fantastic solution for those of us who need reliable quality short run print.

It sounds like you feel the experiment was successful, which is great, but I find it really disappointing that you care so little about fellow designers out there doing what you do. To be honest, your comments come across as quite self-centered.

There are many of us out there who care a great deal about our industry and about other designers - who consider them comrades rather than competition. While you now are saying that this isn't about making an impact on the industry, why did you tout the experiment as "rocking the industry" then? Which one is it?

Obviously none of us are in business to support the wedding industry as a whole, but from someone who seems to be so community-minded, I don't really understand your flippant point of view on how this type of experiment could affect others.
