We are alike in so many ways, I moved from the hurricane coastal zone 12 years ago, my chevyman is a die hard, stay and protect everything...He has enjoyed being away from the hurricanes also! I have never seen a hurricane proof home like that one there in Kiawah, wow. I would high tail it out of there myself, the aftermath is too much for me anymore.

I always thought those barrier islands served a good purpose for slowing down the storms coming. The islands always make the water murky looking but have no fear, my coastal abode days have diminished and I am always prepared. The back nine on Kiawah look nice! The private beach is a hit with the dog walkers, now I would really go for a long horseback ride on the shore! Let's keep dreaming anyway. Mary acts like her clues really have a purpose at times, lol.

Here's to your fresh air and more sunshine. I missed my Grey's Anatomy last night, of course they don't show much of Seattle. The clouds are here and they brought the wind also just in time for the weekend. I keep telling Chevyman that the girl on the billboard song was not for Coppertone. I thought someone else sang it also, anyway, fun song, probably advertised a truck stop, lol. Thanks again.

Awe C'Mon, just one round of golf....Four! LoL...My daughter in law told me Kiawah Island is great for exploring on the beach, very quiet. Wine time on the beach is a big hit there. Now me, I would be headed to Charleston for some downtown fun after all the peace and quiet. Chevyman would be headed to the races in Summerville. I know what you mean about the bridges and traffic there.

I am laughing now at myself, here I thought you were going to Serenbe, sorry, too much paperwork going on currently for me. My 10 key has been smoking hot at times this weekend. The caterpillars are travelling here too. My customers are bringing them in and leaving them on the floor. The pollen has died down a little, mostly pine trees now with their candles growing. I have seen the waste water or gray water for irrigation at Serenbe. Curious about the water supply though.

No problems with the well here. Deep well. No salt either. I can taste the salt in some water around here, restaraunts, but I suppose they use it for hard water treatment purposes. I don't like the salt taste! The water is nice here as to previous places I have lived. My brother is digging a well in south Texas, almost Mexico, and wow, big bucks for that, depending on the depth. He wanted to go deeper but not enough in the budget, so middle depth for him and he hasn't tried the water yet. I can't wait to hear how much sulphur content it has. Glad you are going to get rain. The absolute life giving gift from above! I hope to drop off my taxes today and get back to working on my yard. I'd much rather be outside as you can tell by my tardiness on these taxes, lol...

I can't wait to hear about what you see and do at Serenbe. Hope your trip is fun and safe. I would love to have a gold-level Leed certified Green Home. I am curious if the stables uses Fly Predators for fly prevention. I encourage everyone I know with livestock to use them. They work great. Happy Earth Day to you, I am planting, putting out fly predators, and hanging heat blocking curtains on a few west windows. Trying some new heirloom Sunflowers. Funny about the cushions, trying ours too, not too many left on the shelf here, everyone has the same idea, lol. And how's the water in Serenbe? I see properties with public water and private sewer, and some say public water and public sewer connected. Just curious where the public water comes from. I love my well water.

I did. Those views were nice. Chevyman wanted a speed boat right away! lol I can't wait to see what they do with this Oasis. It did look like sunshine coming in would make the place hot, the terrace I mean, I would want some kind of shade maker there. Miami looked fun for sure. I bet sunrises are awesome with an east view.
