There's also assault as a civil charge. I am not a lawyer, though, nor do I play one on TV. I do know that medical practitioners can be charged with a civil type of assault, if they do an unauthorized procedure, such as sterilization without consent, etc.

No, assault only requires a threat of attack. Battery requires a physical attack.

Another angle to this is its relationship to anxiety. So, you may say lack of good births and lactation (or trust in humans) is associated with higher anxiety levels. I find Howard Stern so upsetting, even more because my husband and his family and friends are huge fans. I am upset by his assertion that she is "pretending" to be in show business. She has much more of a claim to show business than many other pseudo celebrities, by being the star of a critically acclaimed major motion picture, nominated for a friggin Academy award, on the cover of numerous magazines and appearing in many other media outlets (interviews, future films, etc.) I have a feeling that if she was white, thin, and blonde, he wouldn't have any issue with her claim to show business, regardless of his views on her future prospects. Even if she had only been in a porno, or was someone in a fake reality show's ex-girlfriend. I have a feeling that Robin wasn't much of a help, either. As someone who used to fit the description he was using pretty closely, before she went on a long, near starvation diet, you'd think she might identify with Gabourey.
