This one made me cry when it came out because it mirrored so perfectly was I was living at the time, seeing the inevitable end of a relationship coming, for things out of our control.

Almost 10 years later, it still makes me tear up.

I started reading octopus pie when I was 20. I'm 27 next month.
It has carried me all the way here.
I read a FUCKLOAD of comics and webcomics but none has had that much influence for me. I grew up with the characters and now I'm pretty much Eve: terrified of what's next

What is going to become of me without Octopus Pie?

I'm heartbroken, but also so grateful to you Meredith, because it really got me through some tough times. I hope I've stored enough Octopus Pie in me to last me for the next ones.

Thank you so much for these ten years you gave us, and I'll be there for whatever's next.

Why is this comic always relevant to what is going on in my own life? It's terrifying.
I lost my job at the same moment as Eve, broke up at the same moments as the characters as well, HELL even the "seeing marek with new girlfriend" comic was posted on the day that happened to me MEREDITH WHAT IS THIS SORCERY
