Star Talk : Star Commentary: Aaaaand She’s Out

I'm happier that Chris is finally gone. He really had no talent and should have been eliminated much sooner.

Star Talk : Holiday Recap

Penny, don't complain that nobody likes you when you openly plotted and hated on the others from the start. Am I the only one who thinks Whitney looks like Rachael Ray's younger sister? As much as I enjoy The Food Network Star, I really wouldn't watch any of the winner's shows. They are all too generic and wouldn't bring anything new to the table.

Star Talk : Star Commentary: Bake or Be Baked

I liked Alicia. She seems really nice. I can sympathize with her as my nerves have done me in many time. I think she would have lasted one more round if Chris wasn't on the winning team. I really don't think she would have went further than that. Her meltdowns were a bit much (again something I can sympathize with as I have frequent meltdowns).

At the beginning of the episde Penny complained that all the other contestants let her know what side she stood on. Penny, you are the one who started the conniving planning to strategically eliminate people. Don't get mad when people call you out on it.

Listverse : Top 10 British Comedy Series

When I was a young teenager, I watched "Red Dwarf" every Saturday night on PBS. It didn't matter how many times the episode was repeated. Then PBS added "Mr. Bean" after "Red Dwarf" and I stayed up and watched that as well. Even though PBS had a good four hour block of British Comedies on Saturday night, those were the only shows I followed.

Listverse : Top 10 Best Novels of the Last 20 Years

I went to the book store to buy "House of Leaves" and when I was thumbing through it I realized I had no idea how to read it. So I bought a Dan Brown book instead. (I'm just kidding about the buying a Dan Brown book.)

Listverse : Top 10 Best Novels of the Last 20 Years

Interesting list. I haven't read any of them. I own "The Road" and have put off reading it because I need to be in the right mood. I also bought "Infinite Jest" but will probably never read that because I'm not smart enough to get it. In the video game "Alan Wake" the creators talk about Mark Danielewski's "House of Leaves" as being an inspiration to the game. They also mention Poe's "Haunted" album and commented on how those two different forms of media seem to complement each other. I don't think the guys at Remedy realized they are brother and sister. I've always been meaning to read "House of Leaves" but never got around to buying it.

The government cover-up is a lazy cliche. So giants transforming robots destroyed a city and thousands of people died, but the government was able to cover it up and make people forget it happened in the sequel. Yeah I'm looking at you Transformers 2.
