I also sort of liken the MSM to Terry Gilliam's character who followed King Arthur around beating two coconuts together to make it sound like he was on a horse. Sort of like when Obama gives speeches, it all sounds good, but when you actually look for the horse..... There isn't one.

It's like that scene in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail".. I won't mention the name, because I could be accused of Racism. But you know the one I'm talking about.... "It's just a flesh wound". This administration could have no arms or legs and still be deemed a success by the MSM.

For those that aren't Monty Python fans.. Google "Monty Python The Black Knight".

Isn't George Orwell's "Animal Farm" and "Ninteen-Eighty Four" on the book lists in schools anymore? They should be. This is unreal. Why not just call these people party members of Obama's "Ministry of Truth".

Just to be clear.. the following is Sarcasm:

It is important to vet a possible presidential candidate, because we wouldn't want someone in the white house who is hostile to women or sexually harasses them. The MSM did a wonderful job of keeping those people out of the Oval office just ask Bill Clinton. Of course groping or saying something suggestive is a very serious issue and should be fully investigated because it could lead to rape. So our candidates should follow the example of the OccupyWallstreet crowd so it doesn't happen. Good thing we found this out about Cain before he made it to the primary. It's important to vet these people, because you never know. I mean maybe a candidate might have close ties to unrepentant terrorists who got off on technicalities or to clergyman that hate america and have associations with known anti-Semites. The MSM does a fine job of making sure we have all the information about our future presidents and vice presidents. The National Inquirer for instance they are top notch journalists because they exposed .. what was his name again, you know the guy that knocked up his Videographer while his wife had cancer?

End Sarcasm...

I agree with Coulter that this is a Hi Tech Lynching and even if a Republican Establishment member brought it to the forefront it will be the Liberal Media who will make sure it gets the airplay they think it deserves.

Yes but when you try to "Inform" someone who continues to believe that Republicans/Conservatives are all racist you get someone like Dr. Mark Lamont Hill that comes back with some slick story of how when the Dixiecrats lost power in the south they all joined the Republican Party as a way to maintain their power base which then "miraculously" turned the whole Republican Party into a bunch of rich rabid racists bent on lynching every black man they see.... Facts and History just don't seem to matter to that kind of thinking I guess.

My comment on the last post by Andre Harper over at Big Journalism.
http://bigjournalism.com/aharper/2011/10/27/a-rac...

I was trying to ask for input on how to argue with a liberal that the Republican and Democrat parties did NOT switch places. Which is what a liberal will say when you try to inform them that it was in fact the Democrat Party that was the party of Jim Crow and the KKK and that the Republican Party was the party of Civil Rights.. Again I fell victim to my poor writing skills. Some commenters I guess thought I was trying to reinforce the false notion that the parties switched. I think after the first neg rep was tacked on people just assumed I was trying to cause trouble.... I support Herman Cain... not because he is Black, but because he is not a politician and is a successful business man.

Apologies.. even though I have been using the Internet ever since <sarc> Al Gore invented it </sarc>, I still sometimes forget that the thoughts in my head, while saying them out loud sound witty, <sarc>I soon realize that I should have taken that creative writing class in college instead of joining the Air Force and serving my country. </sarc> Truth be told, I appreciate what I learned while serving my country more than the A I got on that English Lit paper.

Now I just need to figure out how to get out of the red negative rep... It makes me look like a commie...

Sorry Stan522, my sarcasm didn't translate well. In the second video, the speaker was talking about these "Assemblies" that group together based on interests and that they elect a "Delegate" to represent them and that there was no real power in the larger "Assembly". That to me is what the founding fathers wanted, they are called "States". The federal government was supposed to be limited. That was what I was meaning.

What OWS wants it's cake and to eat it too. They want full individual freedom, but without responsibility, they want the government to provide everything for them. Unfortunately what they will get is pretty much just enough to keep them alive so they can work at whatever job is forced upon them by that government. Their "Individual Freedom" will be made to give way for "The Greater Good".

Your video link was excellent in describing the various forms of government. Thanks for that one.

Wow... you know what the second video sort of sounds like? A small Federal Government with less power and local governments making the decisions for what is best for those that live in that state/city based on what the people want in those areas who then elect a representative in those local governments to carry out there wishes.... Weird.. just like the Founders wanted.... Hmmm. The first video could be used in place of any George Orwell adaptation of 1984.

OWS ... should ask for their money back from whatever educational institution they went to. Wait... they didn't actually pay for it... the went into debt... Idiots.
