Thank you Scott,

I currently post to Examiner.com. I have or rather had an active on-line publication but I am concentrating on building page views on Examiner.

I tire of bombast, unfounded accusations and the nasty back and forth of partisans. My most recent column highlights the ACLU and its positive contributions to protecting our civil rights. I'll provide a link...look it over and see if any of my columns interest you.

If you're aware of the ACLU working against civil rights...perhaps on gun control if that is your opinion...then write "the other side of my story" as a counter point. Show your argument with real examples and qualified opinions from experts not just the hair on fire screamers.

If you're game I'll post your response to my story on my examiner.com page. You post my response to your article too. I'm hoping it will be fun and lead to ....well, who knows what.

If you have something different in mind, I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks again Scott,

Scott Rohter...that's a nice bio, congratulations on OHB 4111. We have similar passions but on opposite sides of the conservative/liberal divide. I've been looking for a good counter point to my liberal scrawls. You or anyone else that is capable of critical thinking, an avoidance of personal remarks and an understanding that on one person, group or party has all the answers is welcome to contact me.

Here is my latest peice which is about the very real contributions to civil liberties made by the ACLU: http://www.examiner.com/article/aclu-defender-of-...

Let me know if you're interested in a running dialog on current events. As you can see I too write for Examiner.com And...I wonder if the Tea party Tribune might publish original pieces.

For the past 3 years I have been looking for an excellent conservative thinker as a counter point to my liberal writings. I had almost given up when I came across Dr. Phils column. My hopes may be dashed permanently.

This muddle of a mishmash of fractured syntax and name calling is not held together with cogent thought or an observance or event, explored objectively and summed with convincing narrative, it is merely a pretense, a poorly written editorial blather and a wholesale waste of time.

You went to law school 4 years. Did you graduate and by "practicing law personally" does that mean you are a genuine attorney? You're also an expert in storm water management and a doctor? A doctor of what and from which University did you attain your doctorate?

I don't really care if you make a living selling peanuts if you can think and write well. You do not think or write well if this article is representative. I won't bother to read another of your columns.

Ken, You make your beliefs clear but your credibility is invisible. Where is the substantiation for your claims?

You say " Every CPA even the GAO and many other organizations have said this health-care plan that they could not find the time read, will no doubt finish us off economically." I fact checked this and did not find any substantiation for your claim.

I did find this from Stephen L. Nelson CPA , MBA and author of Quick Books for Dummies " While businesses in general may be in shock over the tax increases they see due to the Obama healthcare reform, for the typical limited liability company, the new law may not pack that big a punch. Sure. The new laws increase in the Medicare tax burden of many LLCs. But the rules are tricky and often subtle."

You say President Obama is "destroying our country economically" but that means the country is doing worse than when he took office. That is clearly false. The economy has not stayed the same or gotten worse, it's much better than when the President was inaugurated.

This from Luca De Leo for The Wall Street Journal April 13, 2012 "The U.S. economy continued to improve across all regions at the end of February and through March, with most of the Federal Reserve's 12 districts reporting widespread gains, the Fed said Wednesday."
"In it's latest beige book, the Fed said the weak job market was also doing better, with hiring still strong in manufacturing, a sector that continues to lead gains"

No one, not even President Obama claims the economy is as good as when Bill Clinton balanced the budget, but it is obviously better than the tragic consequences of "Deficits don't matter."

What "rights and freedoms" has President Obama seized? Remember, the Orwellian named Patriot Act and Homeland Security were G.W. Bush acts. I don't like the Patriot Act from Bush and I don't like its continuance but G.W. Bush definitely wins the contest for seizing rights and freedoms.

President Obama is the most corrupt president ever? What corruption are you referring to? There's an impressive list of corruption that has occurred throughout U.S. history. I'm not aware of any credible allegations of corruption against Obama. You should put up some credible information and do some reading on the Iran/Contra scandal, Watergate scandal, Tea Pot Dome scandal and etc.

Unsubstantiated cynicism is just a rant, it certainly is not journalism.

Ken writes that Romney was just one part of a legislative process that was serving the will of his constituents and that "THE GOVERNOR DID NOT CRAM THE BILL DOWN THE THROATS OF HIS RESIDENTS AGAINST THEIR COLLECTIVE WILL." Seems to me that is the exact process the President was part of when he signed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act into law.

It's obvious that Ken's hatred of President Obama has severed his ability to be objective. As a result of Obama Care insurance companies can't cancel your policy if you get sick, can't exclude you if you have a pre-existing condition and must spend 85% of premiums on actual health care or refund the difference. President Obama and the Democrats will long be appreciated for getting this done in the face of lies such as "death squads".
