Happy Blogaversary! What an awesome baking pan to have! I would use it for a tart too since I have a springform pan for cheesecakes!

I'm the same way as you - I only have burgers if they look/sound amazing. Though I'm all about the toppings - the more, the better!

mmmm browned butter!! I could seriously drink the stuff. I think another important thing when making it is using a stainless steel pot... my mom tried making it with a non-stick pot and couldn't tell when it was turning brown so ended up burning it.

As a banana hoarder, I always have more than enough and always a couple that are a little too ripe by the end of the week. I usually freeze them for smoothies but these bars are calling my name!

I'm on a citrus kick too! Maybe it's these cold dreary winter days that leave me wanting something bright and cheery? Whatever it is, I'm loving this cake and wish I had a big piece of it right now! As for the lemon curd - what about some thumbprint cookies with lemon curd in the middle?!
