Here is a thought: If the radio is wired back to the car battery then the coax braid will be connected to the car earth through the radio chassis. This is not a low resistance route, but it does add significantly to the earth efficiency.

I think the bible has to play a central role in this. In previous times the term "liberal evangelical" refered to someone who was theologically liberal, but whose liberal ideas came directly from their understanding of scripture and not from buying into someone elses liberal intepretations or theology.

In other words the bible was a centeral part of their liberal theology and practice.

This form of liberalism is almost non existent in the 21st century.
